Privacy Policy — Walk with Quran
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Walk with Quran (Android package name: com.walkwithquran), published on Google Play by Andalus Games (the “Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using Walk with Quran, you agree to this policy.

2. Summary
Walk with Quran helps you track walking/steps, read and memorize the Qur’an, and count dhikr. Most worship and fitness activity data stays on your device. We do not operate a backend that stores your step history, GPS tracks, or Qur’an progress on our servers.
Third-party SDKs (for example ads and purchases) may process limited data as described below.
3. Data we access or collect
3.1 Health & fitness data (on device / Health Connect)
We access health and fitness related data to power Activity and Fitness features:
- Step counts from the device pedometer / activity recognition
- Steps and related totals synced from Google Health Connect (when you grant permission)
- Workout / walk sessions you start in the app (steps, distance estimates, calories estimates, duration)
- Optional body profile values you enter (height, weight, sex) used only to improve calorie estimates
How we use it: show daily/weekly progress, walk goals, trends, achievements, and Planned Walk session stats.
Sharing: we do not sell health data. We do not upload your step or workout history to Andalus Games servers. Health Connect data is read on-device under your permission and used only inside the app.
3.2 Location data
We access precise location (and, when granted, background location) for the Planned Walk feature:
- plan a walking route that starts at your current position
- record a GPS track, measure distance, detect route deviation
- provide turn-by-turn guidance while a planned walk is active — including when the screen is locked or the app is not in the foreground
How we use it: navigation and distance for user-started planned walks only.
Not used for: ads, analytics profiling, or background tracking when no planned walk is active.
Sharing: GPS track points are stored locally on your device for the session/history features. We do not upload your live GPS track to Andalus Games servers.
3.3 Other on-device app data
- Qur’an reading / Hifz (memorization) progress and review reminders
- Dhikr / tasbih counters
- App settings (language, stride, preferences)
- Local notifications related to steps or review reminders
This data is stored in local app storage (SQLite / preferences) on your device.
3.4 Data processed by third parties

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We configure ads so they are not shown on Qur’an, tasbih, or audio worship screens.

5. Data retention
- On-device fitness, location tracks, Qur’an, and dhikr data: retained on your device until you clear app storage or uninstall the app. We do not keep a separate cloud copy of this activity data on Andalus Games servers.
- Purchase / subscription records: retained by Google Play / RevenueCat as required to provide the subscription and for legal/accounting obligations.
- Ad-related identifiers: retained according to Google AdMob’s policies and your device advertising settings.
If we ever introduce optional cloud backup, we will update this policy before collecting that data.
6. How to delete your data
Because most app data is stored locally:
- Delete local app data: Android Settings → Apps → Walk with Quran → Storage → Clear storage / Clear data, or uninstall the app. This removes local steps history, walks, Qur’an progress, and settings from the device.
- Revoke permissions: Android Settings → Apps → Walk with Quran → Permissions (Location, Physical activity, Health Connect, Notifications, etc.).
- Ads: reset or limit your advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads (wording may vary by device).
- Subscriptions: manage or cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
- Additional deletion request: email milanochka.llc@gmail.com with subject “Walk with Quran data deletion” and your Google Play order ID (if relevant). We will confirm what we can delete. Note: we cannot delete data that exists only on your device after you clear storage/uninstall, and we cannot delete records held solely by Google Play/AdMob beyond their controls.
7. Children’s privacy
Walk with Quran is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your choices
- Decline optional permissions (location, Health Connect, notifications); core Qur’an/dhikr features remain available where possible.
- Disable Health sync in app Settings (if offered) and/or revoke Health Connect access in system settings.
- Use a paid/premium option where available to reduce ads.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
